Try a few new bicep exercises:

Cable Supine Curl

This is my particular favourite.

I think that same way but that is probably because I'm usually the one laughing at my head at the same 15-20 kids I see doing bench, curls, skullcrushers, and rope pulldowns 4 times a week.

Re: does anyone else hate training biceps?

I absolutley hate doing arms. And thats why I dont do em. Besides if you want big arms do the core lifts:

Bench
OH Press
Pullups
Rows

Your young, leave the curls alone, they are pointless.

Re: does anyone else hate training biceps?

I LOVE doing arms in general, but especially biceps. I can do 1 set of curls and my biceps get pumped like crazy and it feels and looks awesome. My arms are def. my strong point and tbh I was never one of those people who only trained arms either. My forearms suck tho:(

Re: does anyone else hate training biceps?

I can relate to this... likely because no matter what, I cant get them to grow! Then i get reminded of what overzealous enthusiasm gets us... Torn muscles! A friend i met up with today has a nasty tear that started at the origin, which is weird because usually tears occur at the muscles insertion. And guess how he did it. Yep, heavy full range of motion preachersress:

Re: does anyone else hate training biceps?

Key words there were Heavy preachers. Honestly, I don't think you need to go too heavy on arm isolations. Heavy work is for the big exercises, curls aren't supposed to be done heavy IMO. I'm not saying to be lifting 10lbs on curls, but on preachers especially b/c of the stretch at the bottom, you shouldn't be trying to turn it into a feat of strength.

Re: does anyone else hate training biceps?

I can honestly say that I do NOT like training biceps. They suck. Although I do love the pump. But I haven't gotten a great pump in a while because I haven't been on any supps on months!!!
