Thumbs up Idea for a new challenge?

Suitable for both genders, of course.

I know you guys are all kind of active, but I was seriously thinking of doing a 5000 mile challenge. Anyone interested?

You can walk, ride, swim, run, even fly if you find wings big enough but what do you think?

I know it might seem a bit high, but I did 10 miles alone today just during 20 minutes HIIT so if I set it to 1000, it wouldn't last very long.

Any takers? Any suggestions?

Re: Idea for a new challenge?

I barely drive 5k miles a year in my car

I'm in but it would take me 10 years to get that much cardio in.

That's insane. I've had my car for almost 3 years now and it has 16k miles on it.

I almost made it a 500 mile one but I did 10 miles on one HIIT session, so if I'm doing three sessions a week, that's 30 miles per week without me counting anything else (like taking the kids birdwatching - and we usually walk at least seven miles with that).

By my reckoning, I'd be hitting an easy 140 miles a month so obviously at that rate, 500 miles is nothing.

And you need to do cardio, yew is gettin' fat.

Re: Idea for a new challenge?

so your saying like each workout we just add how many miles and whoever gets to 50000 first? seems pretty cool
