Re: Someone do this with me!

I'm a ways off from this type of program but maybe in 6 months or so? I have a lot to do first...

Re: Someone do this with me!

So as I posted this in my journal I did a form of crossfit the other day. Its the 1,000 rep workout. Its 10 exercises with 100 rep per exercise. Here are the exercises, you cannot move on until you complete the exercises in this order. It is all for time.

Jumping Jacks
BW Squats
Lunges
Pushups
Pullups
OH Press w/ 30lbs bar
Curls with 30lbs bar
Bench Dips
Bicycle crunches
Mountain Climbers

I got it in 31:05. I felt like puking when I was done. Just goes to show my aerobic is not where it needs to be. I think I may do crossfit for about a month or 2. I am telling you guys this shit is mean!

why is it when I look up a particular exercise on youtube that they seem to all be doing it bare-footed?

Re: Crossfit

Haha, alot of gyms around America allow their members to go barefoot. I dont know why, its pretty dumb.

Re: Crossfit

we have a guy who works out bare footed or in flip flops. it's funny, i ran into him one day at walmart.... not surprised, he was wearing flip flops there too. this guy will even get on the treadmill bare footed. eww!

this is the same guy who will load the pulley with all the weights and do tri press downs with about a 2" range of motion.

Re: Crossfit

So basically you just do the workout that is listed on the page for the day?

How many days a week does this go because I've only seen one rest day on the page, which really isn't an issue since it seems a lot of these sessions are really quick.

Re: Crossfit

Well you wouldnt believe the people who come into the gym and after I put them through a workout they say, "oh my god that was hard!". I just laugh at em and say, "Working out isnt suppose to be easy, and thats why most of Amercia is overweight!".
