You don't have enough protein in the first 2 meals of the day and the source of the small amount you do have shouldn't be counted toward your protein intake as it is plant protein which is incomplete (missing amino acids) You need either whey or a source of protein that had a mother (chicken, fish, eggs, meat etc) to count toward your intake. You also need to work out how much protein/carbs/fat you need in a whole day and then divide by 6 or 7 (how ever many meals you have per day) that will keep you diet and nutrient intake more stable and balanced which is best for growth and staying in a metabolic state.

When we say "protein," you think "peanut butter" "almonds" and other insignificant sources of protein. So then you come back with your bizarre diets. I want you to forget that nuts and peanut butter even exists. Pretend that if you eat any nut product, it will cause you to grow breasts. You are skinny. OK? can you accept that? With that said, Don't ever count how much fat something has in it. Do you really care how much fat something has in it? Are you concerned you will get fat? Seriously? If you are concerned about getting fat, you need to forget about wanting to eat for size because you cant have them both. Count protein and total calories. Eat solid protein and carbohydrate foods. Truthfully, I'm not convinced yet that you are an ectomorph. Dont let yourself off that easy. Demand more of yourself and your diet than just giving up and deciding that you are an ectomorph. If you are eating half a dozen whole eggs, 2 steaks, and half a chicken a day and still cannot gain weight, then we might consider the idea of you being an ecto. I've been in this game many years and I am still working on my diet daily to try to find a way to eat more and more quality foods and get my daily calorie needs in. It takes time.
