Pain from above the elbow

so i train arms and it feels good after ive finished my workout, feel really tight and pumped. Then the next day i cant seem to move my right arm properly up and down, get a kinda stiff feeling just above the elbow. Same with the other arm but not as much.

Re: Pain from above the elbow

is it pain or DOMS?? they are 2 completely different things.

If you worked it yesterday, my guess is DOMS.

Re: Pain from above the elbow

I agree... Too many people say pain, which to me relates to tendon or joint micro injury. If you did a new exercise and bang on it hard, you will develope DOMS. Please clarify you "pain"

Re: Pain from above the elbow

Doms is muscle soreness from micro traumatic tears in the muscle. It stands for Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. It usually occurs about 12-24 hours after exercising and lasts for about 3 or so days. Every lifter gets it when they do something different with their workouts.

Re: Pain from above the elbow

Stretching b4 a workout isnt all that neccassary. A good warmup is, but stretching after a workout is a must!
