My routine is confusing me. Im unsure on how many times to train each muscle etc chest. People say train it everyday, some people say 3 times a week etc.. Ive got a book and it says training it less makes it grow more, Is training each muscle group once a week really enough for optimal growth? Thanks |

The most you should be training a muscle a group is 2 times a week but you can do 1 and that would be enough.

You can do 2X/week if you are brand new. But to build Optimal muscle 1 X every 5 days is plenty. Some people go heavy light which I feel is a waste. IMO Congrats though you now own the Teen Forum page = 18 of the 20 posts!!

| Now in NY! | Re: Optimal Growth If you work hard enough in the gym, 1x per week is fine. Keep in mind that certain muscles work together so while you are focusing on a muscle 1x per week, they are getting stimulated somewhat during your other workouts as well.
