Optimal Growth

Hi, Ive got my Diet right now and thats 3500 cals.

My routine is confusing me.

Im unsure on how many times to train each muscle etc chest.

People say train it everyday, some people say 3 times a week etc..

Ive got a book and it says training it less makes it grow more,

Is training each muscle group once a week really enough for optimal growth?

whoever said train it everyday is dumb. your muscles need 48-72 hours of rest between each time you train them. The most you should be training a muscle a group is 2 times a week but you can do 1 and that would be enough.

Do you NOT read any forums here. 1 muscle 1 day/week. You can do 2X/week if you are brand new. But to build Optimal muscle 1 X every 5 days is plenty. Some people go heavy light which I feel is a waste. IMO

If you work hard enough in the gym, 1x per week is fine. Keep in mind that certain muscles work together so while you are focusing on a muscle 1x per week, they are getting stimulated somewhat during your other workouts as well.
