| Animal | Pull ups Should i behable to do pull ups? i can only do 4 reps then im gone lol, how do you get to behable to do more reps when doing pull ups? |

When I started back I could only do about 5 good reps, to me that's not even worth getting on the bar and doing them. I start out with lat pulldowns, since it's pretty much the same motion as a pullup. I started out doing sets of 10-12, and gradually increased the weight every couple of weeks. I also concentrated on other back moves but the pulldowns were the key. It's not going to happen over night it takes time, but when I got strong enough on the lat pulldowns I migrated back to doing pullups. By this time I was to doing 10 solid reps, and from there I just kept doing the pullups every week increasing the reps or adding weight. Again this might not work for you, but it has served me well over the years.
