Scivation Grape XTEND

What is Xtend and what does it do?
Xtend is a precise, scientific blend of Energy Aminos consisting of the proven 2:1:1 ratio of Branched Chain Amino Acids (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine), Glutamine, Citrulline Malate, and Vitamin B6 that will give you the energy you need to maximize your training while enhancing recovery at the same time. The advanced components in Xtend have been scientifically proven to help speed recovery and enhance ATP production and promote cell volumization. Avoid fatigue by blocking entry of fatigue-inducing tryptophan into the brain. Increase protein synthesis, immune function and digestive health. Promote vasodilation which can lead to better assimilation and absorption of protein. Elevate growth hormone levels.

The taste isn't too bad, but it's not the best tasting also.

Mixability: 9/10
It's pretty simple to mix, a couple of minutes will get it all dissolved and ready to drink.

Effectiveness: 10/10
Xtend is very effective. If you take it as directed, it will work wonders! I can work out more intensly now without worrying about being sore. I can also wake-up without having to check if I'm sore .

studies are showing that pre during and post workout free form amino acids are increasing protein synthasis. while just using whey is not. ive only read a couple articles on this and it might be bunk studies but still worth thinking about. so increased recovery isnt the only advantage to free form aminos

Re: Scivation Grape XTEND

I just picked up the watermelon. I want to try it on a bike ride today. I have used Amino Vital which is almost the same but lower amounts total, and it was great.

When you make it though. Make sure you leave about 15-20 minutes time for it to fully disolve or else you'll see a bunch floating at the top. Usually mix a few scoops, shake it up, then let it sit in the fridge for 10-15 and you're good to go.
