if you're eating 5 meals...150g protein + 50 from your pwo shake, you're getting 200

yeah, thats fine. Make sure those meals are of quality protein(eggs, steak, chicken, etc...)

Re: Need some advise

excess cals lead to weight gain....period. you wanna gain, you gotta eat. Will you put on some BF, most likely if you want to gain weight faster. Or you could gain 5-6 lbs of muscle only in a year which would be fantastic. Eat more protein, moderate carbs and fat.

Re: Need some advise

Do you want to gain weight? If you do, then simply eat a little more at each meal until you see your weight go up. Especially if your losing weight now, then obviously your not eating enough. Weigh yourself every morning and gauge your progress. If you lose weight, then eat more. If you gain too much weight than eat a little less. Don't make things too complicated w/ your ratios either, just make sure you get enough protein and eat enough calories.

1lb....2lbs tops. Most people are good for 6-12lbs of lean muscle a year but think about after 5 years of good diet and routine what 30-60lbs of lean muscle mass will look like.

Start with 250 and go from there if you're really trying to minimize fat gain.

LISTEN UP!!!! You said that you were putting on FAT so I said to drop your cals. Now you're losing weight and can't figure out why. I am growing very tired of people NOT LEARNING!! Decide WTF you want to do....and F#cking do it. "I wanted to lean out, but now I'm losing weight and getting weaker after dropping my cals by 1000" DUH...You are too impatient as many on these boards are. You HAVE to put the time in. YEARS...not months!!!
You can not build muscle in cal defecit....PERIOD. I have given great advice on how to slowly build some muscle and lean out. How do you think I got where I am. Not overnight. TIME and PATIENTS and not caring what other people were doing.

Like my old siggy stated. "you lift your way...I'll lift the right way"

I am sorry to rant but after countless emails I think I am through helping. You guys figure it out on your own.

Sorry to be a dick.....But you called me out.

Interpreting the tone on a message board is hard to do; I was not calling you out, or saying you gave poor advice. I want to grow as much as the next person but I am very new to this, as you say you are still learning your body. Well so am I, but you have a lot more time under your belt then I do. I knew I was going to drop weight but I thought that I would start gaining again, because I assumed I would still be eating over my maintenance level. I know you give out lots of quality advice and I can understand how many people come on here wanting to gain weight over night, and assume your advice is BS because it does not work right away. I know it takes time I just wanted help finding the sweet spot for my caloric intake.
