I don't mean to sound like an ass, but there is some material in your blog that is unsuitable for children (mainly just one word), we do have a few children that frequent this board. I understand that you have every right to write whatever you want in your blog, and I do respect that. There are kids who can stumble on your blog from this site.
Please consider removing that link from your signature or removing the one questionable word I saw in your blog.
If you take this as me being an ass, I apologize. It is not my intent. I think its just the parent in me coming out. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Can you tell me what the offensive word is? I did not mean to offend anyone, and if I did I apologize. Tell me what word I put in my blog and I will be sure to remove it.
Cheers,
Fitness Chick

Rep Power: 18 | | | LOL that is quite the blog fitness chick, but are you sure u want to share that kind of personal information with strangers on the internet? aevans and tatum, id say it is more the parents job to censor children from the internet - dont they have webpage blockers n stuff like that? fitness chick, keep in mind anyone could be reading this, including children, but it is your own choice to write what u want in any matter you want.
btw, most importantly, welcome to the board!! Where do you live in canada? reason I ask is I'm in U of T, but only for school. I live in NYC actually.

Rep Power: 32 | | | My post had nothing to do with censoring a child, nor my children. My post was dealing with details of a sexual escapade one of our members has had.
I was not offended by it (I'm not easily offended at all). I just asked you to remove the link because children do visit this site.
Wolverine, I understand what your saying, and I do take notice in what my child sees and doesn't see. Most parents don't. This is a forum about health and fitness. If a child stumbles on that story on their own, thats one thing, the parents should be to blame. If they stumble onto it because of their kids browsing a health and fitness forum, then who's to blame? The parents? As far as they know, their kids are looking for exercise tips, and stumble on a story like that. |

Rep Power: 18 | | | no doubt, but a kid browsing through articles on breast cancer may suddenly find his / herself on a porno site or some girl showin off her tits for kicks, or what if the kid looks through worldfitness.com and somehow finds a site that sells steroids, does that mean worldfitness is offensive? should it then be banned? the point is you will always find something that is "offensive" to children, even if you're looking at a website that is totally "unoffensive." so of course, the best solution is to have those website blockers or have an adult sit with them as they surf the internet.
