Bodyweight pullups aren't necessarily our strongest area... So, here's a way to have a spotter, with out a spotter. "Band assisted Pull ups" I'm not sure why she uses an alternating grip tho.

| Muscular | Re: "Self-Spotted" Pull ups Not a bad idea at all...I usually do sets until failure, and when i can't do any more---i just pull my legs up and rest them on something near me, like part of the power rack or whatever's holding the bar...lightening the load just enough so that the struggle to complete the pullup is the same as when i started without help...i dare someone to find a cheaper way, hehe! Good post. |
