I tell you the thing to look forward to: When you lose all the weight and you run into people you havent seen in a while. Their reactions is very good for the self esteem. Always peps up my day to get comments like those.

Nicely done. Keep it up.

In my experience, the more extra weight you have, the easier it tends to be to lose, so another 5 lb weight loss week is likely.

Legs hurting while running

So not yesterday, but the day before when I ran I was having some difficulty with my legs after about 10 mins. I've got my breathing pretty well under control now so I can run longer without having to slow down and catch my breath, but when I was running I was having to walk every now and again after I would give a good busrt of running because my legs just ached soo bad. I've had shin splints before so I know it wasn't that, but my legs were just turning into jelly. I'm going to attempt to run again tonight hoping that my legs were just sore from running the day before. I really hope that I'm not doing any damage to myself because I'm determined to lose all this weight and I'm not going to let anything stand in my way.

Breakfast- Bowl of oatmeal w/raisens and a bannana
Lunch-Turkey Sandwich on whole wheat w/Mustard and Celery and Carrots
Dinner- went out to eat at smokey bones, Got pulled pork, mashed potatoes, baked beans and some onion rings. So this was not a healthy meal.
Snack- none
Exercise-none

ok, i lost 33lbs of body fat in 1 and a half yrs following a few simple rules. you need to listen to your body more and try to forget ur past eating habbits, this will take some time and will power but if your serious enough then it will happen. Listen to ur body more, when you feel hungry, EAT! the daily meals you are consuming at the moment are comparable to the diet of a small monkey. eat 2500 cals a day, healthy cals, carbs, protien and healthy fats. When your stomach rumbles, eat until ur satisfied but dont over do it, if you eat slowly enough then you will naturally know when to stop. ever seen a fat person eat slowly? i know i never did. i couldnt wait to fill my face with pizzas and kebabs every day. ur stomach has probably shrunk to the size of a peanut and i believe ur weight loss at the moment is due to the face ur body is burning muscle for energy. Im sorry to piss on your fireworks like this but someone has to point you in the right direction for your own well being. This is the only problem i can see here, other than that you have the right attitude you just need to stick with it. if you need any more help you know where to find it mate, stick at it!

Okay, So I havent been posting my exercise and food for the past few days. But it has all been roughly the same. I get to weigh in when I get home tonight for week 2. Im not sure how it's going to go. I had to cut my running time down yesterday to 20 minutes because my legs were really really sore. I'm not sure what is causing this but it's really demoralizing. If it is possible, i'm going to try to ride my bike a little more for exercise to give my legs a break this week, but I'm not sure if that is going to be able to happen condsidering it snowed again here today. Yesterday I also tried on of those protein shakes. My mother is doing an exercise routine with a PT and she has been doing the protein shake thing. The one I tried yesterday was vanilla, and at first I thought it wasnt bad, and got half way through the can and had to pour the rest out. Not very tastey. But I might purchase a few different flavors here, and see if those are more tolerable. But anyways, again I weigh in tonight, I hope there is more lossage there. *crosses his fingers*

4 Pounds more! Wooo

So I just weighed in again for week 2 and im down another 4 pounds. That takes me down to 261. I hope the weight keeps comin off at this rate, but I know that that is not likely. Oh well, 9 pounds in 2 weeks seems pretty good to me!
