Now to get away from the strength perspective of it, kickbacks are pretty good to engorge those triceps with blood. I would only use them with light weight though, so I could get a really good squeeze at the top. Keep in mind, not everyone train for strength. I do love skull crushers, just cant do em anymore. They kill my elbows. Last time I did 155lbs on skulls and my elbows havent been the same!

| Getting Muscular | Re: Best Bicep Exercise DB Kickbacks are ok, but if you do one arm cheat versions like Larry Scott did with the 150's then it can deliver some soreness! Also, the elbow joint is unloaded in the Kickback so it is probably one of the only tricep exercises where it is ok to use loose form. |

Remember also....There is a BIG difference between lifting a weight and working a muscle. 150lb kickbacks would not work the muscle very effectively.
