Turkish getups, hypers, birdogs (many different modifications), V-Ups, core ball situps, cobras, etc.....all core movements.

I do core everytime I workout. I do it at the beginning right after my active stretches. Its always 1-3 exercises about 2 sets each, so its LOW volume, but high frequency.

Malley, what kind of weight should I be looking at for getups? They look good, actually.

As for planks, I tried doing one today after my squats and dayum...could barely get 30 seconds... lol

ID I use a 30lbs DB sometimes. Just try doing them without anything to start and then try to add weight.

Re: What is a plank?

I've added some of these with a weight plate on my back and they are really tough. Gets you out of the mindset of working for the "burn" and working towards core strength but don't get me wrong they still burn.
