Rep Power: 8 | | | Can someone explain... Or at least attempt to explain why too much aerobic excersise can hinder bulking? I've read in a few places that when trying to gain muscle mass, yuo should try and cut back the cardio, as apposed to weight loss.
Can anyone elaborate?

Rep Power: 385 | | | Sure, the point in bulking is to gain weight/muscle and so we need calories. When doing excessive cardio, this burns calories that are needed to be used for bulking. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | An adaptation to aerobic exercise is a higher mitochondria count within the muscle, which takes up space that more A&M could be in. This will hurt strength gains. Also fiber types adapt to exercise over time, either to be more powerful or more aerobic.

I thought you would've learned something in those classes by now. |

It's nearly impossible to do without the use of anabolics. You need to either cut or bulk. |

Can anyone elaborate? | The normal for doing cardio while bulking is usually 3 times a week for 30-45 minutes to keep excessive fat gain to a minimum. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
