A bad day for eating.
Started out good and fell. Because of the Bengals. Lol.
Exercise- Jogged for 25 mins, 30 push ups
Breakfast- Oatmeal w/ Raisens
Lunch/Dinner- Was at a sports bar to watch the Bengals/Steelers game and they have nothing healthy at all to eat. I had some chicken chunks, some fried veggies, and later on some chicken wings. On top of that, a lot of light beer. Bad day overrall. But i'm back on it this week and im gonna work even harder this week to try and make up for it. Actually I'm just gonna work harder to get better results all the time.
Also to add it, when I ran today, it was only my secound run. But it was alot easier than my first one and I actually enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to getting a good run in again tommorow.

Breakfast- Oatmeal w/ Raisens
Lunch- Turkey Sandwich on whole wheat w/mustard, baby carrots.
Dinner-Lean Cuiseane (280 calories) side salad with light dressing, sliced pears
Snack-Small bag of dry Grape-Nuts
Exercise-Run/job for 25 mins, 25 pushups, weight training( not sure of the exercise I did with the free weights)
Okay so I'm actually feeling really good about myself. I've kept up with everything so far on my diet and exercise routine, except for Sunday. But in the past when a situation like Sunday were to happen where I broke the diet, I would just keep making excuses for the next day like, "welll i ate that yesterday, so i might as well just give up and eat fast food today." So everything is going well. And tommorow I will get to weigh in for the first time in a week. I'm not sure if I've lost anything, but even to see just a 1 pound loss for a week is going to keep me movitvated.

Rep Power: 8 | | | Ive actually found that if I can actually get behind an attractive lady I can keep a much faster pace than usual. Strangely enough, my pace seems to match hers exactly...who would have thought.
Ive never actually tried visualizing a woman though....if no one is there I tend to just zone out and fall into the music. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | haha thats funny, actually woman are the furthest thing on my mind right now. Granted part of the whole gettin in shape thing is so I can find one, but right now I'm just focused on looking good for myself and just being healthy overall. I want to look in the mirror and feel confident to go out and do whatever it is I need to do without feeling self conscious about my weight. That is my goal. |

Committment. Good. Keep us posted on your results. Try not to weigh yourself more than once every 1-2 weeks. The less often the better in your situation, as motivation is generally higher if you gauge yourself on how you look and feel.

Rep Power: 8 | | | 1 Week down, Woohoo 1 week down and many more to go. But as of today I am feeling great. Just eating right and exercising regularly for 1 week has changed the way I feel. What a good feeling it is to feel good . This is also 1 week without smoking a cigarette, woohoo. I thought taking on both of these tasks at once was going to be overbearing for me, but It is actually helping me to stay twice as motivated. I'm looking at it like, well you havent smoked for a whole week, ur on the path to quitting, what else can you accomoplish for yourself?! Now I havent weighed in yet today, but even if I havent lost the pounds, I can already tell a difference in the mirror. Nothing dramtic but since I see myself everday, I'm noticing . When I get home I will weigh in and post. Im on my way, and I'm not giving in this time!
Breakfast- 1 Bannana, Bowl of Oatmeal w/Raisens
Lunch-Subway 6inch turkey on wheat w/ mustard, lettuce, bannana peppers, and black olives, and a bag of baked lays (150 calories)
Dinner- Grilled Chicken w/ Sauteed Onions and yellow peppers, Green beans
Snack-
Exercise-Ran for 25 mins

Rep Power: 8 | | Im just the opposite, since i see myself everyday I dont notice any difference. After losing 50 pounds, I could tell a bit of a difference, but I didnt realize how drastic it was until I saw pictures of myself before.
I really wish I had done before and after photos. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | Keep it up man. I quit smoking a couple of years ago and it was tough for about 2 weeks. Then it's alot easier. I just wish I had started working out then too.
I was thinking of taking a before pic as well. Even now I don't think I look that big until I see pictures of myself. Then it's like "HOLY CRAP!". | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
