Ha, its pretty funny when people come here with that attitide. Im not digging at this guy. a lt of people come here and just wanna talk about it for ages then maybe lift a few dumbbells, they dont realise that they might acctually have to do some basic reading and writing to get fit.
Doom - you said you wanted tips not reading material... well all the stuff in these articals is essential to you, it's much easyer for everyone if you just read and learn it, rather than us just have to tell you, cos were just gonna say the same stuff, so it'll take just a s long to read.
it sounds like you dont need tips, you need a program and some motivation.
I was the same when I started, I couldn't be bothered to read stuff, it seemed to be a blur of words that i didnt understand. But you need to know it, your training starts on paper.

Rep Power: 9 | | Get yourself a good cardio session several days a week e.g. running for up to 1 hr etc. Incorporate other exercises as you go on.
The article http://www.mensjournal.com/healthFi..._exercises.html covers some good exercises that you can take on as you begin to improve on your fitness.

Rep Power: 43 | | | for me, and this is a personal thing, I found that the best way for me to lose weight was doing 20mins of high intensity CV every day of the week.
I dieted well and did 1hour 4times a week, and lost 3-5pounds in 2 months, then I started every day and in a year I lost over 35lbs.
